Edward "Ted" Schmid

Dr. Edward "Ted" Schmid is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at Arkansas State University's Beck College of Sciences & Mathematics. His research focuses on aging, actin dynamics, and inflammation within the field of immunobiology.

• Education: BA in Biology and French from Ball State University (2008); MS (2010) and PhD (2016) in Immunobiology from Yale University

He teaches courses in Virology and Pathophysiology, and maintains his office at the Arkansas Biosciences Institute (Room 210).
